MiSeq

NextGen Sequencing and Library Prep

We are pleased to now offer Next Generation sequencing on Illumina's MiSeq platform, purchased through joint efforts of the Microbiology Department, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Department, and Biochemistry and Cellular and Molecular Biology Department.  The MiSeq provides great flexibility in Next Generation sequencing and is ideal for small genomes, metagenomics, amplicon sequencing, RNA Seq, and other targeted projects.  

Users are welcome to prepare their own library or we can prepare libraries for you.  Click here for pricing or contact us at bioseq@utk.edu for questions about specific projects.  Every library is unique and has its own considerations.
